Who’s Nikkee
Nikkee grew up in a small town in Nebraska before moving to Lincoln, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Human Sciences with a focus in Psychology and Sociology.
In 2014, she graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Seattle and has been refining her craft ever since. Believing that true healing comes through multiple avenues, Nikkee has pursued extensive training in a variety of modalities, including Craniosacral Therapy, Neuromuscular techniques, Thai Massage, Reiki, Yoga, and other forms of energy and movement work. Her continued education reflects her commitment to offering her clients a truly integrative and effective approach to wellness.
After relocating to Boulder in 2018 to join Massage Specialists, Nikkee’s practice quickly flourished. She found that with consistent, focused bodywork, her clients experienced enhanced performance in all aspects of their active Colorado lifestyles—whether biking, climbing, or simply moving through daily life with greater ease and balance.
“I think that healing starts within. To me how we care for ourselves and out bodies is what is most important. I see myself more as a tool for healing each person. I am here to help you find your balance. Massage is just part of the equation. Exercise, Diet and what we consume on a daily basis in life all adds up and bodywork on a regular basis helps to balance that so we can better ourselves and our lives.”
Native to Wisconsin, Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and Milwaukee, respectively. Her fascination with life sciences—specifically genomics, microbiology, and oncology—initially led to training as a biologist and a career in medical research. Parallel to her scientific work, she studied Eastern healing practices such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese medicine and traditions in Polynesia. Driven by a belief in the power of holistic healing. Elizabeth moved to Boulder County in 2025 to study massage therapy at the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy in Longmont and began practicing in Boulder shortly after. She has taken additional trainings in Thai and Ashiatsu and Zero-balancing, and is looking forward to growing with her clients.
Elizabeth values an holistic approach to massage therapy, seeking to bring balance to the structural, myofascial, and emotional or energetic body of her clients. She utilizes Western methods such as trigger point therapy, sports massage and myofascial release as well as elements of Eastern healing arts in the form of practices of Thai, Ashiatsu, and Zero-balancing. She also uses a lot of mechanical tools to dislodge stuck fascia such as scraping, cupping, and heat therapies.
We all carry patterns in life, whether it is through work or personal activities, life events, or our own emotions and aches. I want to work with you to gain awareness of these pattens and re-train your body for better body awareness and function.
